Knoxville Paint War Engagement

Knoxville Engagement Session

I am excited to share this fun Knoxville paint war engagement session with Erica & Jeronimo.  This fun couple decided to have their session at two different locations and capped things off with a paint war.  We first stopped at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens and followed up with a stop at Ijams Nature Center and Mead’s Quarry.  Erica and Jeronimo are getting married in New Orleans and decided to plan a fun and romantic engagement session while they are living in Knoxville.

When Erica contacted me and said she wanted to have a paint war.  I had heard about photo shoots with paint before, but this was a first for me.  I think these two love birds had as much fun throwing paint at one another as I did photographing them.  I think the photos turned out great and I hope I get another couple in the future that wants to get crazy with the paint.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

Mead’s Quarry and the Ijams Nature Center

Mead’s Quarry Park offers a glimpse into East Tennessee’s quarrying past.  This quarry has provided pink marble that has been used in local and national buildings and monuments such as the National Gallery of Art.  The features include a series of rugged multi-use trails for hikers and bikers.  The property features scenic overlooks and gorges, historic cemeteries, rock bridges, and mature woodland areas.
