I am happy to share this snowy wedding at The Magnolia Venue outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This fun and adventurous couple selected the Magnolia to be the landing spot for their destination wedding. The bride, Lauren is originally from South Carolina and the groom Lucas is from Chicago. Lauren and Lucan now reside in Georgia and went with the Smokies as a good in-between spot for their special day. I was very excited to wake up on their wedding day to a snow-filled sky. I have been photographing weddings at the Magnolia for 3 years and have not had the good fortune of capturing a wedding in the snow. Lauren & Lucas got a light wintery mix of snow and cold temperatures in the mid 30’s throughout their wedding day.
The Magnolia Wedding Venue
The venue is nestled high above the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. It is one of the Smoky Mountain’s newest venues in Pigeon Forge, TN. The venue features breathtaking panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains. The venue boasts a large patio area adjacent to the reception hall. This is a large space that opens up to an incredible view of the Smoky Mountains. The patio and venue literally hang over the edge of the mountainside.
